Step 2 is an organization that is breaking the cycle of addiction in families. They provide comprehensive, coordinated services related to the treatment and recovery of chemically dependent women and their families, resulting in sustainable self-sufficiency. Formed in 1986, they have served over 4000 women, with 200 women and over 400 children participating last year. CEO Cheree Boteler will tell you how this 501c3 organization is able to help women re-join society and gain jobs to support their families.   Step2 is a multistep program that includes residential and out-patient treatment for women overcoming their substance abuse addictions while getting away from domestic violence. The program gives women the option to be treated at the center or from their own home.  NOTE:  A woman who has been helped by Step2 will also be accompanying Cheree.
